{"id":15247,"date":"2021-07-07T19:27:11","date_gmt":"2021-07-07T17:27:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ilovefruitandvegfromeurope.com\/food-safey\/"},"modified":"2022-04-12T11:05:47","modified_gmt":"2022-04-12T09:05:47","slug":"food-safey","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ilovefruitandvegfromeurope.com\/en_gb\/food-safey\/","title":{"rendered":"Food safety"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Food safey<\/strong> and the <strong>quality&nbsp;of food products<\/strong> have always been of uttmost importance to Italy and the European Union. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To assure consumers of a high level of food safety and safeguard the agri food sector from recurrent crises, the EU has adopted the farm to fork strategy along the entire food chain,&nbsp; with an <strong>integrated control system<\/strong>.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is based&nbsp; on a combination&nbsp; of high requirements for agri food products\u2014both for (<em>human<\/em>) <em>health<\/em> as well as <em>animal and plant welfare<\/em>\u2014this holds true whether produced in the EU or imported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All Member States must respect the same criteria; food and sanitary controls are carried out to the same standard across the EU. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This&nbsp; harmonizing of safety requirements enable&nbsp; free movement of safe food, contributing significantly to the well-being of citizens and their social and economic interests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main principles of the food regulations are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>integrated controls along the <strong>whole of the food chain<\/strong><\/li><li>interventions based on <strong>Risk Analysis<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>primary responsibility<\/strong> of each sector operator for each product made, transformed, imported, marketed or distributed<\/li><li><strong>traceability<\/strong> of the product along the food chain<\/li><li>the consumer as an <strong>active part<\/strong> of food safety.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Food safey and the quality&nbsp;of food products have always been of uttmost importance to Italy and the European Union.
