Solitaire is a popular card game played with a standard deck of 52 cards. The goal is to move all the cards to the four foundation piles, building decks of cards of the same fruit/vegetable from Ace to King.

Game Rules

Building on Columns:

- Cards can be moved from one column to another in descending order and alternating colors (red and green).
- For example, a green 6 can be placed on a red 7.

Discovering Cards:

- When you remove a face-up card from a column, the next card in the column is revealed.
- If a column becomes empty, you may move a king or a sequence of cards starting with a king into the empty space.

Building on the Base Piles:

- Aces may be moved to the base piles to start a new sequence.
- Cards may be added to the base piles in ascending order and of the same fruit/vegetable (ace, 2, 3, ..., king).

Using the Discard Pile:

- You may turn over three cards from the discard pile at a time and place them in a discard pile. Only the top card of the discard pile is available for play.
- If you run out of cards in the discard pile, you can turn the discard pile over to start over.

Strategy

- Try to reveal as many face-down cards in the columns as possible.
- Try to build on the foundation piles whenever possible without obstructing the possibility of revealing other cards.
- Use the discard pile strategically to have access to the cards you need to continue the game on the columns and foundation piles.

Game End

The game ends when:

- You have moved all the cards to the four foundation piles.
- There are no more possible moves and you can no longer turn cards from the discard pile.
